You see, there is a very thin line between highlighting and hiding when it comes to make up. Some beauty products and advertisements will make us believe we have flaws that we are not even aware of. Take for example eyebrows. There was a time when thin brows were the in thing, look at us now 🙂 Perfectly arched brows are a necessity and for some of us the struggle is real!!
What I am driving at here is, in the beauty industry you should always know the the line and strike a balance. Do not indulge in hiding your insecurities, rather dwell in highlighting your strengths. This way you will be sure to have fun.
Like I keep saying, life can be boring and we need to jiggle it up a bit, have fun while we can because if we don’t, then who will? Anne of Chish Makeup art seems to agree with and says ” if that is the case, then there is nothing wrong with throwing on a bold lip or experimenting with some make up technique once in a while.” We couldn’t argue with that. So we teamed up for a collaborative project dubbed “All the way Junkie” to showcase fun with make up and its versatility especially on the African skin, because there is beauty in melanin.
