Hallo Profashionals! The off shoulder trend has been going on for so long and it looks like it is here to stay. I decided to join the band wagon. When my colleague brought this dress for me try on, I knew I was definitely going to take it home. I loved it. One reason I got this dress is because I always have trouble picking something to wear for a date night. I guess all you ladies can relate. You know something that is not too much but not too simple either. Something that says I got this just right instead of I tried too much! You feel me, yes?
We can all agree that the off shoulder appeal is in showing some skin. This one right here makes me feel a little bit sexy and feminine without too much flesh out in the cold. However, if your date is not in a warm restaurant, do not wear this not unless your are the queen of freeze and shine! If you are not comfortable showing off all your shoulders you can opt for the cold shoulder (cut out) option where only the shoulder joint peeps out.
The second reason was the lace. I have been into the lace trend this whole year and I do not think I will be growing out of it any time soon. It is not everyday we wear lace (at least I don’t) so it is a good bet for a date night. It is a classic because only minimal jewelry is required with it. I tied the hair up in a knot (to give a good off shoulder show) and wore a choker to add onto that show.
Finally, the dress is a midi length which means that my legs will not steal my shoulder game. How often do you show your legs? Almost every day in a dress, yes? Then give the shoulders a chance once in a while, will you?
