Mixing colours in the office is a difficult task, figuring out how to make the bright colours work is a much more daunting task! It is much easier to throw on a black or blue or brown or whichever neutral shade and just be done with it. After all, what is the need for a fashion outburst when all we are going to do is sit behind a desk all day? we wonder.
It is true that the neutral colours will never fail, and yes it takes you only five minutes to throw it down. Who doesn’t want that? Lucky for those in the creative industry as it takes two, just two darn minutes to throw on a pair of jeans and a t-shirt. I do love my blacks and grey but as much as these colours are my favourite (and for most people in the office) go-to looks, sometimes they could definitely appreciate a bit of elevation.
We need to wear something vibrant and eye-catching. Something that makes a statement. Something that brings some soberness into the office. It does not have to be the whole outfit, but just a pop of colour. The easiest way to do so is on your feet. Have fun with your shoes and wear a bright colour to give life to a simple outfit. Every time you look down on your feet, you will feel alive too! right? This is how I felt in these shoot, I could not help but keep admiring my feet even in the middle of phone calls!! I wore two different pairs to show you just how much fun you can have.
P.S. These shoes will certainly draw attention downward, so if you are wearing sandals make sure your toes are neatly polished with a pretty neutral shade.
