Getting started is always the hardest bit for everything. Getting into nursery school we all had a few tricks up our sleeves to skip school, okay maybe not all of us. I remember once, my two friends and i skimmed a day off from school. We cooked a story
about our teachers going god knows where so there would be no classes. They bought it 🙂 🙂 They had to. Three kids, different classes, same story! Clever we thought, only to be discovered a day later from a neighbour we had excluded from our master plan. The tricks did not stop there though.. how i miss my childhood. Fast forward and we all looked forward to our first jobs. The excitement of finally earning your own cash and being independent, the opportunity to wear all outfits you have been admiring simply because you can afford it, the dream to travel far and wide are more realistic than ever, simply put it is the feeling of a dream gradually coming true.
What you do not realize is that you will have bills to pay, and your dreams may take longer to achieve than anticipated. The salary is not as much as expected, in fact it is barely enough to survive in this economy. Worse still, skims and tricks are not applicable! Unless you were lucky enough to be born with a silver spoon, you have to work and you have to look good while at it. It is your first job so first impressions matter. As i keep saying dress the way you want to be addressed. Simply standout!! How do you hack this polished look with a barely enough salary? simply invest in wardrobe essentials and be confident. . A pencil skirt in dark shades should be a staple for your wardrobe, it can be styled with almost everything making it look different every time.
For this post I wore the same skirt and shoes as here but i tried to show some fresher timidness. Just like form ones were easily identified in high school so do this pictures indicate except maybe a little for the first one. My advice do not be obvious, dress for the job you are eyeing and just like nursery school, have fun and keep them guessing!
