Hurray!!! December is here!
That time of the year when everything is a reason to celebrate. Who doesn’t like some good times, huh? But before then, we get to sit down and analyze the end of year goals. You know, those resolutions you made at the beginning of the year. Which ones have you achieved? One reason to celebrate! Or those that you have carried forward since…eeh..the new millenium maybe?? Yet another reason to laugh about and celebrate 🙂
You still got some time to finish up on a few of those I guess.
It is that time of the year when we get to shop, shop and shop more mostly because of the discounted prices. That time when we get together with family, friends and colleagues to make merry and unwind the whole year. That time when we get invited to more parties than we can dress for.
When attending these christmas parties, it is easy to get away with any outfit where family and friends are involved. It gets confusing when you have to decide how formal you ought to be when attending this great event in an office setting. We all take christmas to be an elegant and special event, but as much as you would like to be over the top in your outfit, remember there is still a dress code to be adhered to. You do not want to be on everyone’s lips till the next end of year party for dressing shabbily!
For starters, keep the cleavage to yourself; avoid plunging necks at all costs. Too short outfits and sheer dresses are a big NO; spare them for a night out with friends. This is an official party not a Glamour award! Lace is perfect for the office party, classic and casually formal. You can choose to wear it in bright colours, loud and proud; after all it’s the festive season and the more the colour the merrier it becomes. Here’s what I plan to wear for the party. In red! You can never go wrong with this colour!
Remember to party responsibly!
